Back in 2009, a deep recession had reached all corners of the world. We were in the grip of a banking crisis and businesses were challenged to think differently.
Our three founding directors were drawn together by a desire to better service the industry. They felt they could offer something different, something that would change the way Business Finance is accessible to companies throughout the UK, cutting the complexities and keeping it simple.
Our directors all worked within different sectors of the finance industry and it was clear they’d offer a bigger, better service if they formed an alliance. That convergence of servicing has been the cornerstone of our success.
The name ‘Clear’ represents how we understood one funder will not ‘credit clear’ every business for finance. Subsequently, we have gone the extra mile partnering with over 60 funding partners, both household names and niche players, to ensure we can credit ‘clear’ as many businesses as possible.
Our aim is to secure you, the customer, the right funding at the right price. We act as a conduit providing our customers access to a panel of expert lenders. Our Customers trust us because we are the first to know about preferential rates entering the market and similarly our Funders trust us because we only align the right customer with them, saving everyone time.

Every day at Clear we are making further steps to enhance our environmental policies. We are committed to playing our part in the fight against climate change and understand that we each have a responsibility to reduce our environmental impact.
When we moved into our new premises in 2014, one of the first things we did was to implement energy efficient lighting throughout all of our offices and in subsequent years our commitment to the planet hasn’t stopped. We’ve invested in electronic documentation to reduce our usage of paper and have setup recycling points throughout the company to encourage our team to contribute to the country’s sustainable efforts.

Our Office
We are located a short 10-minute walk from the London underground and have a town centre location ideal for getting a coffee or having some lunch. There is also on-site parking which we look to reserve where possible or alternatively there is a pay and display located no more than a 2-minute walk from our office.
