Managing cash flow as an SME can be tough—especially when big bills hit at the wrong time. Whether it’s a VAT deadline, a supplier invoice, or a marketing campaign, upfront costs can create pressure when cash is tied up elsewhere.

That’s why more businesses are now spreading the cost of their bills over time. It’s a smart way to stay in control without affecting supplier relationships or stalling growth.

Why Spread Your Bills?

Here’s why spreading business expenses is becoming a go-to strategy for UK SMEs:

  • Preserve working capital for growth, not one-off payments
  • Keep suppliers happy with full, upfront payments
  • Smooth out seasonal cash flow fluctuations
  • Improve predictability with fixed monthly instalments

How It Works

If you have an invoice, we may be able to help you fund it and spread the cost over:

  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • 9 months
  • 12 months

Example: Spread a £6,000 bill over 6 months

  • Pay £1,000 upfront
  • Repay £1,000 monthly for 5 more months
  • Your supplier still gets the full £6,000 up front

✅ You can continue uploading new invoices during your agreement term
✅ Repayment timelines stay fixed, even if you upload a bill on the last day

What Can Be Funded?

As long as there’s an invoice, you may be able to fund it. Some common examples:

  • HMRC VAT bills
  • Contractor or recruitment invoices
  • Marketing & advertising spend
  • Office fit-outs or tech subscriptions
  • Equipment and supplier costs

Revolving vs Non-Revolving Access

We can offer two types of access, depending on what suits your business best:

Revolving Credit

Use, repay, reuse. Ideal for ongoing flexibility.

Non-Revolving Facility

One fixed credit limit to use during your agreement. Once repaid, a new application is required.

How to Apply

We’ve made the process simple and fully digital.
✅ Connect your business bank (via Open Banking)
✅ Link your Cloud Accounting software
✅ Get a decision within 24 hours

Not using cloud accounting? No problem—manual application options are also available.
